Prior to his own Fall from God's 'Grace':
Satan had many friends within the Angelic Community (Angels) that held much closeness for Satan, and believed that he deserved great respect, prestige and notoriety for his leadership amongst all the Angels in Heaven.
After Satan did become cast Down from Heaven:
Many of these same members of the Angelic Community (Angels) were found to disagreed with God, and viewed His actions taken against Satan as being too drastic.
Upon which it was these members of the Angelic Community:
That Satan did seek to influence, to gain his own following within Angelic Community (Angels),
Through seeking to persuade them that instead of showing Honor, their Loyality and Alliegence to God' Himself,
That they should instead choose to follow Satan's own glory, and bestow God's Due Honor, Loyality and Alliegence upon Satan, because he was just has competent has God was to rule the Universe.

Seeking to persuade those Angelic Communal (Angels) members that they should instead choose to follow Satan's own glory did prove of little influence, as they questioned wheather or not Satan was indeed has competent has God was to rule the Universe!

The respect, prestige and notoriety which Satan enjoyed amongst all the Angels in Heaven was indeed great!
Sadly, it was also great enough that certain of the Angels did allow themselves to become blinded to the point where they end-up following Satan's misplaced respect, prestige and notoriety,
rather than God's!
After Satan did become 'Cast Out of Heaven'
There were many Angels which did disagreed with God, and viewed His actions taken against Satan as being too drastic.

QUESTION:...HOW DID CHOOSING TO FOLLOW SATAN'S LEADERSHIP CAUSE FOR THOSE MEMBERS OF THE ANGELIC COMMUNITY TO FOLLY AND FALL from God's "GRACE"?
REPLY...Satan led those certain members of the Angelic Community to become Puffed-up with their own Creativity. Enough to chose to believe themselves able to either challenge God, disregard their own Creation, or even misuse their own Heavenly Glories Given themselves by God !
Which in doing so:
So too did they fall from God's 'Grace' and became
'Cast out of Heaven'.
